For your information: How burner's Gas valves
operate
When the two Gas valves (Operating & Safety) take power
from Burner's Control box, to open,
a) Safety valve opens immediately
b) Operating valve opens gradually according to valve's
Start Adjustment which determines how wide and how fast will
be valve's Initial opening to give smooth Gas Ignition.
You can readjust START if necessary, having in mind
that too small or too wide START Adjustment may cause burner's
"lock out".
Note: To adjust correctly START screw you need to connect
a water gauge to the Gas head (operating valve's) pressure
measuring point (30) so you can see the water in the gauge
rising smoothly without "locks"
when Gas valves open.
The time required to open totally the operating valve also
depends on SPEED Adjustment (factory precalibrated
and sealed).
(For detailed information on Burner's adjustments ask for
our detailed technical manual).
